Introduction

At FORTEIA, trust is not a marketing statement. It is a structural principle embedded in our governance architecture. As a cybersecurity and AI advisory firm operating in regulated environments, integrity, confidentiality, independence, and accountability are non-negotiable foundations of our business conduct.

1. Commitment to Integrity

We conduct our business with honesty, fairness, and transparency across all engagements.

  • Professional Independence: Advisory services are delivered objectively, free from improper influence.
  • Transparency: We communicate clearly regarding scope, risks, and governance implications.
  • Fair Conduct: We reject practices that compromise ethical judgment or regulatory compliance.
  • Accountability: Leadership maintains oversight of ethical standards and governance obligations.
  • Confidentiality: Information entrusted to us is protected before, during, and after engagement.

2. Zero Tolerance for Bribery & Corruption

FORTEIA maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward corruption in any form.

  • Active or passive bribery
  • Facilitation payments
  • Influence peddling or undue advantages
  • Kickbacks or hidden commissions
  • Improper benefits in domestic or international transactions

3. Conflicts of Interest

All team members and partners must avoid situations where personal interests conflict with professional responsibilities.

  • Disclosure: Any potential conflict must be transparently disclosed.
  • Assessment: Conflicts are reviewed and mitigated through structured governance processes.
  • Objectivity: Professional judgment must remain impartial at all times.
  • Independence: Commercial considerations shall not override governance integrity.

4. Third-Party & Partner Expectations

We expect subcontractors, consultants, and partners to uphold equivalent ethical standards.

  • Anti-Corruption Compliance: Adherence to applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws.
  • Sanctions & Trade Controls: Respect for international sanctions and embargo regulations.
  • Data Protection: Compliance with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
  • Confidentiality: Protection of sensitive and intellectual property information.
  • Right to Disengage: FORTEIA reserves the right to terminate relationships that violate ethical principles.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Partners must operate in alignment with applicable regulatory obligations.
  • Governance Cooperation: Cooperation in audits or compliance reviews when required.

Ethical concerns may be reported confidentially via ethics@forteia.com. Reports are reviewed independently and retaliation against good-faith reporting is prohibited.

5. Data Protection & Confidentiality

As a cybersecurity-focused organization, we treat data protection as a core ethical obligation. Security, privacy, and governance controls are implemented in alignment with international best practices and applicable regulations.

6. Leadership Commitment

Ethical conduct is led from the top and embedded within governance oversight mechanisms.

  • Executive Oversight: Leadership maintains responsibility for ethical governance standards.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Periodic review of ethical risk exposure.
  • Continuous Improvement: Governance frameworks evolve in response to regulatory and operational developments.

Ethics and governance remain foundational to our role as trusted cybersecurity and AI advisors.
